Zeitschrift für Anomalistik [Journal for Anomalistics] The journal, now entering its sixth volume, is published in German with English abstracts. Occasionally, English texts are accepted for publication. The journal is modeled after Truzzi's no longer published Zetetic Scholar from the 1980s, with many open peer commentaries published along with the original empirical and theoretical papers, producing vivid and often very instructive discussions. The journal's scope is similar to that of the SSE's Journal of Scientific Exploration with about 50 per cent of its contents being devoted to issues immediately related to parapsychology.

Alex Tanous Foundation Formed in 1990, the Alex Tanous Foundation seeks to conduct rigorous scientific research in areas related to physical and spiritual development, including, but not limited to, the development of creativity, creativity and healing, and the teaching of creativity. The foundation serves as a forum for the presentation and discussion of anomalies.
American Society for Psychical Research  The oldest organization in America for promoting research in parapsychology (psychical research is the older term), has occasional lectures in New York City. Publishes Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research.
Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit
Association for Humanistic Psychology  Primary professional psychological organization of the human potential movement.
Association for Transpersonal Psychology (ATP) ATP is the premier organization for everyone interested in spiritual (transpersonal) psychology. They publish the Journal of
Transpersonal Psychology and hold an annual meeting every other year with both professional and experiential presentations. Mostly relevant to questions about possible implications of psi data rather than primary research reports.

This is the more conceptual branch of the Esalen Institute. They hold invited conferences in cutting edge areas and publish proceedings, some on their web site. Material from several invited conferences on research on the possibility of survival of the mind after bodily death is on the site.
Exceptional Human Experience The Exceptional Human Experience project studied the personal and transformative meaning at the core of all types of anomalous experiences (335 to date on the website): mystical, encounter, psychical, healing, death-related, peak, healing, desolation/nadir, and exceptional human performance. Especially interested in their aftereffects, the most common being a sense of the connectedness of all things.
