Edgar Cayce: The
Most Documented Psychic of the 20th Century with Jerry Lazarus |
Edgar
Cayce (1877-1945) was an American
mystic who gave counsel, called ‘readings’,
on an expansive range of topics including
health and diet, spirituality, dynamics of
the mind, dreams, world affairs, scientific
inventions, God, creation, prayer,
meditation, and
various other topics. In fact, in their
entirety, the readings discuss an
astonishing 10,000 different topics. Cayce
has been called the “sleeping prophet,” the
“father of holistic medicine,” and he is the
most documented psychic of the 20th century.
Nearly 15,000 readings were given over a
period of 43 years. He started each reading
with prayer, then entered into a deep
meditative state in which he answered
questions that were read to him. While in
this meditative, trance-like state, Cayce’s
colleagues and the readings described Cayce
as being in tune with the infinite mind of
God, giving him access to encyclopedic
information on any topic. Many researchers
and people who have used information from
the readings say Cayce’s counsel is
unmatched in modern times. Though not a
medically trained professional, Cayce was
able to give detailed medical diagnosis and
intricate instructions for treatment that
often amazed medical professionals because
of the accuracy of physiological details.
People from everywhere, physicians and the
afflicted alike, turned to him for such
medical readings.
Cayce also displayed many psychic gifts in
his waking state as well. In his childhood,
he had “imaginary friends”, and he was able
to speak with the dead. He could sleep on a
book and know its entire contents, or see
anyone’s aura as clearly as one sees a
rainbow.
In
this lecture, you will hear stories about
Cayce’s abilities:
- To enter into deep meditative state at will and answer any questions including diagnosing illnesses and outlining natural treatments.
- To see into every aspect of a person – mental, physical, spiritual, past-lives, and more
- To see auras and speak with the dead.
- To correctly interpret dreams
- To make future predictions
Jerry will conclude with Cayce’s counsel on
how we can develop similar skills.
